Water Interruption Notice - Repair of Fault on 450mm pipeline :: We apologize to our customers for water interruption on 26 July 2020 that happened due to a fault on a main pipeline between Chichiri and Kanjedza. Repair works are underway and we are doing everything possible to ensure that supply is restored as soon as practicable July 27, 2020

BWB introduces a call center to serve customers better

As the world is experiencing a shift in consumer demands and in order to meet the ever progressing technological innovations, Blantyre Water Board set up a Call Centre in August 2018 as a channel through which customers are provided with information on its services while at the same time creating and maintaining lasting relationships. Customers can access the Call Centre by dialing for free on 5580 from TNM numbers only from 7:30 am to 04:30 pm Monday through Friday, to get information on Board’s services.

Customers and the general public can also phone the Call Centre for free to:

  • Report faults and pipe bursts
  • Check bills
  • Enquire new connections
  • Report illegal connections
  • Report vandalism
  • Report pipe leakages
  • Report meter leakages
  • Check reconnections
  • Access any water related information
