Committing to forming and maintaining strong relationships with its customers, Blantyre Water Board (BWB) on 6th April 2024 engaged in a face-to-face interaction with some of its customers from Kabula Zone.
The meeting took place at Kabula Zone Office and was organised to provide a platform where BWB officials and customers share an understanding on different issues pertaining to BWB services.
Among the issues discussed were water challenges in specific areas, billing and water calculations, illegal connections, corrupt practices, theft and vandalism of BWB materials, prepaid meter replacement program, customer service and Madzi App, and water quality assurance.
During the meeting customers expressed excitement saying it was very informative. They also encouraged BWB executive management to continue organising such meetings whilst ensuring the issues raised on these meetings are attended to.
A similar meeting was held with Limbe Zone customers on 16th March 2024 and the meetings are on-going.
