The 3^rd Africa Water Supply and Sanitation Regulators Conference kicked off in Blantyre Malawi yesterday 24^thSeptember, 2024, bringing together experts from 30 African countries to tackle the pressing challenges facing Africa's water supply and sanitation sectors.

Speaking at the conference on behalf of the Water Services Association of Malawi (WASAMA), BWB CEO, Dr. Robert T. Hanjahanja said "This year's theme, "Adaptive Regulation: Addressing Emergent Issues," couldn't be more timely, as the region navigates rapid changes and seeks innovative solutions. With access to water and sanitation being a fundamental human right, the conference aims to enhance regulatory frameworks, ensure accessibility and sustainability, and drive progress through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and new partnerships."

Hosted by the Ministry of Water and Sanitation, the Water Services Association of Malawi, and ESAWAS (Eastern and Southern Africa Water and Sanitation Regulators Association), the event has drawn esteemed delegates, speakers, and panelists.
