Blantyre Water Board would like to thank the following individuals and groups so far for volunteering themselves to plant trees on 15th, 21st and 28th January 2017 in the Mudi Catchment Area: - Malawi Polytechnic Lecturers, - Mr and Mrs Patrick Likongwe , - Public Relations Society of Malawi - Association of Environmental Journalists, - Ecobank, - Friends of Chinyonga, - Environmental Care Initiative Malawi, - Mbaula Network The Board invites more individuals and groups to plant trees in the catchment area to conserve water as well as protect the dam. If you want to participate in the tree planting exercise get in touch with the Public Affairs officer on 0999 515 677. Remember the tree planting season runs from 15th December to 15th April every year.
