World Bank Funded Project (MWSP-1) June 8, 2023
Blantyre Water Board (BWB) and Blantyre City Council (BCC) through the Government of the Republic of Malawi are implementing the Malawi Water and Sanitation Project-1, with financing from the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank. The Project will increase access to improved water supply and sanitation services in Blantyre Metropolitan Area and enhance the operational and financial efficiency of the Blantyre Water Board. The implementation of the MWSP-1 is expected to commence in June 2023, the project is for a duration of five (5) years.
