World Water Day 2021

Blantyre Water Board joins the world in commemorating World Water Day on 22nd March 2021. We value water and therefore conserve it by planting as many trees as possible.

Water is under severe risk of scarcity as a result of high population, increasing agricultural and industrial demands, and the worsening effects of climate change. This year's World Water Day theme therefore focuses on " what water means to people, it's true value and how we can better protect this vital resource." In addition to its price, water has enormous and complex value for our households, culture, health, education, economics, and the integrity of our natural environment. Blantyre Water Board therefore joins the world in commemorating World Water Day on 22nd March 2021. We value water and therefore conserve it by planting as many trees as possible.
